Why Private & Semi-Private Sessions…?

Think you can’t do yoga…?   Well, think again!   WE CAN HELP.  There are many reasons to schedule a private (or semi-private) session…

  • Get personal assistance for your specific injury, limitation, or special need – learn modifications (how to adapt postures for your ability and body type or condition).
  • Learn yoga from the ground up in a private setting.  We’ll help bring you up-to-speed so that you feel comfortable in a group class setting.
  • Work on specific tight areas, such as hips, hamstrings, shoulders, back, and/or neck.  Develop core strength and overall flexibility.
  • Receive instruction on a specific posture or technique… or get help with designing a home practice.
  • Develop a personal practice that is complimentary to your other activities and sports – helping to improve your focus, concentration, and stamina.
  • Practice at a time that is not currently offered on our schedule – or in the convenience of your own home.
  • Learn how to meditate using breathing techniques that bring energy, calmness, and balance to your practice and life while eliminating stress.

Rates:  $75 for 60 minutes / $90 for $90 minutes (tipping optional).

For Semi-Private Sessions, add $10 for each additional student.

Enjoy semi-private sessions with your spouse, family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors. Host a private yoga class and split the cost!  Sessions are available at the studio or in your home or office (rates slightly higher for travel time and mileage).

If you’re new to yoga, here’s some tips to help you get started…

    • If you have a yoga mat, bring it along. If you don’t own a mat, you can borrow one of ours. (Mats can be purchased at places like Target or, etc.)
    • Wear something that allows you to bend and move easily. Most exercise clothing will work… shorts, sweat pants, form-fitting tees, tank tops, as well as clothing specifically marketed as “yoga” clothing. We practice with bare feet. Avoid wearing anything with fragrance.
    • Try not to eat a heavy meal 1-2 hours before class as having a full stomach can make you somewhat uncomfortable.
    • A hand towel and a bottle of water are nice to have, but optional.
    • We have two changing rooms for your convenience and ample parking.
    • Please note that NO CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO (including in the lobby).
